Vasanthabalan casts Pasupathy and Adhi

Director Vasanthabalan, whose ‘Angaadi Theru’ starring Anjali in the lead has been lying in cold storage for a long time. Realizing that it would be futile to await the film’s release and remain non-committal to other film offers, Vasanthabalan has now decided to move ahead.


T. Siva, who produced ‘Saroja’, has reportedly given enough indications to Balan that he was ready to produce a film under his direction. Adhi, who had a successful outing with his ‘Eeram’ late last year, would play the hero while sources close to the director say that Pasupathy may return to his ‘villainous’ ways after quite a long time.

Tanshika, who debuted in Peraanmai, would be playing Adhi’s love interest in the film. Though Balan has chosen a title and registered the same with the Producers’ Council, he would only reveal the same on the day the film is launched officially!
